The former American Idol winner, who is due to marry hockey player Mike Fisher this summer, told Us magazine: "He'll be one of the ring bearers.
"I don't know if I'll give him the actual ring. He would probably run away with it or eat it or something."
The country singer said she'd be lost without the pooch at her nuptuals.
"He's like my kid," the singer said. "It would be like if I was getting married and I had a child - of course my child would be in the wedding!"

Madame Tussauds in Washington D.C. has officially unveiled the wax figure of Selena Gomez on Tuesday, March 30. Placed in the Glamour room, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star's figure joins those of Jonas Brothers, Madonna, Beyonce Knowles and other celebrities.
For the wax double, Gomez donated her own black BCBG dress and shoes to keep the clothing authentic. The day before the figure was debuted at the wax museum, the 17-year-old has visited Madame Tussauds in Washington to pose alongside her replica.
Another young star who recently got his wax figure displayed at Madame Tussauds is Robert Pattinson. When the figure was debuted in New York City and in London on March 25, fans swarmed both places to hug their idol's replica and get pictured next to it.

Speidi is still together despite a promotional trailer for The Hills' upcoming sixth and final season that showed both Heidi Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt seemingly discussing the uncertainty of their marriage.
"I'm not moving out," Montag told People in a Tuesday report. "I love Spencer with all my heart."
"I love my wife more now than I ever thought I could," added Pratt.
The Hills' sixth season will premiere April 27, and in the recently-released promo Montag is seen talking about divorce and emotionally explaining to that it would be "really hard" for her to "leave" Pratt.
"I really didn't think on my year anniversary I'd be getting divorced," says Montag in another part of the promo.
Rachel Bilson and her soon be husband star wars actor Hayden Christensen are laughing off pregnancy rumours. The couple was spotted leaving a doctor’s clinic last month which spiraled into rumours that Bilson was pregnant. Well she’s not. At least not according to her.
In an interview with Cleo magazine, Bilson said they found the whole stunt “hilarious”. “It was like,'Really? Where does this come from?' I went to the doctors because I have sinus problems. I walk out and it was raining, so I had a big raincoat on - so (the tabloids) thought I was pregnant.
The funniest bit is: "I had Q-tips stuck up my nose because I’m having sinus issues. If you want to think I’m pregnant, then fine!"
