Britney Spears is to make a guest appearance in 'Glee'.
The 'Toxic' singer will have a cameo in the musical TV drama when they film the Britney-dedicated episode, which will feature the high school chorus singing many of her hit songs.
'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy told KIIS-FM DJ Ryan Seacrest: "Britney, I think, 100 per cent is gonna be on the episode, which is exciting. She's gonna come and join us and do a couple scenes.
"All of the Britney numbers will be fantasies. Four of the kids have terrible dental hygiene, and those kids have to go get their teeth cleaned - some of them under anaesthesia - and that's when the fun Britney stuff happens."
He also denied rumours one of the students would shave their head in reference to Britney shaving all her locks off in 2007, when she was going through a highly publicised breakdown.
He said: "The Britney episode is so reverential about her, and so kind, and it's about her music, not her personal life. So that's not true. We're handling Britney with sort of kid-gloves."
Ryan has previously spoken about his desire to get Britney on the show, saying: "Her people want to do it. Like Madonna, they gave me carte blanche. They know that we're fans of hers, and we're doing it in a very reverential way. I think it's just about scheduling - I have to give her the dates."

In this exclusive, behind-the-scenes video, photographer Tyler Shields transformed Lindsay Lohan into the vulnerable Linda Lovelace for her upcoming film ‘Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story.’
In the film, Lohan’s character is forced into prostitution by her husband, Chuck Traynor. Lohan admits his appeal was “dark and mysterious and rough, and different from anything she had experienced in life. Girls like that kind of stuff.”
Lohan admits Lovelace was just as “an innocent girl who got trafficked into a situation.”
The film will resume production in mid-November, following Lohan’s release from UCLA rehab center.

Paris Hilton has launched her new fragrance 'Tease'. The socialite dressed up as Marilyn Monroe and said the new perfume is in honour of the screen legend.
Paris tweeted before the event, 'At home getting ready for my Tease fragrance launch event. Getting dressed up as my Idol and Favorite Icon Marilyn. Loves it!'

The British bombshell, Kelly Brook, who stars in the upcoming thriller "Piranha 3D," dares to bare all in a sexy, eight-page nude pictorial for the September issue of Playboy magazine.
"I was a little self-conscious about the shoot because I look at the other girls in the magazine and they're just so perfect," Brook, 30, told the magazine.
"I'm not 20 anymore. My boobs are real, and they even hang a little," she added.
Wearing a bowler hat, bow tie, cuffs and black lacy underwear, Brooke clutches a black umbrella as she discreetly positions her arm across her chest for the magazine's cover photo.
