The socialite arrived in Tokyo yesterday and stayed overnight at an airport hotel as officials debated whether to allow her into Japan, said Kashihara, declining to provide further information because of privacy reasons.
Hilton pleaded guilty in Las Vegas to a misdemeanor drug charge on Monday; Japanese law forbids entry to those with drug convictions, although exceptions can be made, the Associated Press reported.
"Paris Hilton left around 4 p.m. today," Kashihara said. "I cannot comment on the investigation process, but Paris Hilton arrived last night and was questioned, and was officially denied access into Japan today."

The drama is being produced by Austrian producer Dor Film and co-financed by BBC Films and its Austrian TV counterpart ORF Fernsehfilm. 360 is inspired by Arthur Schnitzler’s play Reigen. Schnitzler’s Vienna-set fin-de-sičcle drama has been filmed many times, including Max Ophuls' 1950 film La Ronde.
Reigen consists of short scenes between couples, shown before or after a sexual liaison. After each scene, one character from the pairing is then shown with another partner, who is then shown with another partner, and so on. Finally, the promiscuity comes full circle.

About her role in Life As We Know It : “My experience as Holly in this movie was my experience as Katie in real life. There’s this thing where, as a new mother, you’re just constantly going, Am I doing this right? Am I handling this right? Am I playing with her enough? Should I be talking to her more? You’re just nervous, so you’re almost creating more drama than is necessary.”
About adopting daughter Naleigh: “[Husband Josh Kelley] and I had been talking about adopting for a year before it actually happened. I had spoken to him about it before we got engaged because I wanted to be sure we were on the same page-not everybody feels the way I do about adoption.” (Heigl’s parents adopted her older sister, Margaret Leigh, from Korea.) “I don’t know why it was so important for me to do it before we had biological children, but I felt like I had been waiting for and dreaming about [daughter] Naleigh for a long time.”
