Actress Hilary Duff just released her first novel “Elixir”, which tells the story of a globe-trotting photojournalist named Clea Raymond, and is currently on a frantic book promotional tour.
The 23 year-old author, who recently married her beau Mike Comrie, was at the Borders in New York City to kick off her tour and visited The Today Show on Monday.
Hilary tweeted her excitement, “OK! heading to my very first book signing@borders columbus circle nyc! Whooo goin to try and do my first twitpic! Wish me luck!”. While at Borders, Hilary tweeted the picture above with the caption, “thanks everyone for coming out and supporting me!! couldn’t of asked for a better crowd!! xxo”

Shauna Sand was caught on camera at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch. It’s an actual pumpkin patch with kids’ activities in West Hollywood. Shauna Sand visited Mr. Bones on Friday with her daughters.
Shauna Sand wore a tiny black tank, a black booty skirt with white trim and lacing, and stripper heels. At one point she even flipped up what little fabric there was on her skirt to reveal her panties which said “10” on the front, and “Perfect” on her bottom.
Cox and her husband, David Arquette have announced they're splitting. Like most Hollywood couples, they've tossed out the cliches about remaining committed friends and responsible parents and loving each other deeply, and all that, but we all know that only Demi and Bruce can make that one work.
The two do have a close relationship (he's a producer on her show). While they say they've been split for awhile, he Tweeted a picture from her C-Town dressing room as recently as last week.
The couple was married in 1999 and has a 6-year-old daughter, Coco.

Wearing only silver body paint, the E! reality star, 29, appears on the November issue of W.
In the issue, she opens up about her public perception.
"I'm not a drinker, and when I'm up on the table dancing, it's for the picture," she says. "Then I sit right back down. I play into the perception of me, but it's not really me. And the show reveals that."
She credits her E! reality show for improving her self-esteem. "I used to think, I have to be this or that or skinny, and now, because of the show, everyone is embracing just me, which has given me such a confidence," she says. "Now, I’m like, Why did I ever give that feeling the time of day? I’m so mature now. I’m a grown-up version of myself."

The Oscar-winning actor has been selected by the American Film Institute to receive the 39th Life Achievement Award, the organization's highest honor for a career in film.
"Morgan Freeman is an American treasure," said Howard Stringer, chair of the AFI board of trustees, in a statement on Monday. "Across decades, whether playing a prisoner, a president or God, he embodies a calm authority that demands respect for the charactger and for the art form"
Previous recipients include Steven Spielberg, Al Pacino, Meryl Streep, Sean Connery, Clint Eastwood, Alfred Hitchcock, Bette Davis, Orson Welles and last year's honoree, Mike Nichols.
The Freeman tribute will take place in L.A. on June 9, 2011 and airs later that month on TV Land PRIME.
