The remake is set up at Warner Bros, but doesn't have a script. Depp has been looking to develop the property through his Infinitum Nihil production company which is set up at Warner Bros.

'Jersey Shore' star JWoww was offered $400,000 to strip for Playboy, but she has decided not to collect that paycheck.
"I am not going to do Playboy in the near future," she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday. "There is a better opportunity out there, which everybody will probably see soon."
JWoww refused to reveal what the better opportunity is, and was cagey when asked whether she'll be doing a spinoff with Snooki, who may star in her own dating show.
"We'd love to do one, but nothing's confirmed," she said. "We are moving in together, though. That is a guarantee. Just to move in. She wants to get out of her house. I no longer like my house, so what better thing to do than move in together?"

Eva Longoria Parker suffered only minor injuries after being involved in a minor car accident Wednesday evening in Hollywood.
The "Desperate Housewives" star was driving eastbound on Hollywood Boulevard at about 7:30 p.m. when another car made a left turn into a parking lot and hit Longoria Parker's car.
The 35-year-old actress complained of pain but was not seriously hurt, according to Los Angeles police Sgt. Kara Silverstein of the department's West Traffic Division.

Sources said Mayer recently was out one night with the sultry star, who's in town filming her new series. One source said, "They brought along other friends, but the idea was to see if they would hit it off."
Kim's made it clear she's on the hunt for a new man in New York. But Mayer wasn't amused when we reported they were seen chatting in the lobby of Sirius XM last December.

Supermodel Adriana Lima models the $2 million Bombshell fantasy bra at Victoria's Secret Soho store in New York today.
Showing off the glittering bra in a pale blue satin gown, which was cutaway to reveal her chest completely, Adriana attracted plenty of stares from men and women alike as she stood on the pink carpet.
Designed in collaboration with Italian jeweller Damiani, and containing more than 3,000 jewels, the piece took six craftsmen 1,500 hours of work to complete.
Adriana needed a security team just for her bra, with its incredible 142 carats of white diamonds, topazes and sapphires.
