Megan Fox is to make her Broadway debut following the announcement that the 25 year-old actress will be taking part in this year's '24 Hour Plays', in which cast and crew meet and create and produce six short plays in the space of one day.
Fox has had an ascendant career since starring in action film 'Transformers' in 2007, going on to star in the follow up 'Revenge Of The Fallen' and is now currently filming the Sacha Baren Cohen directed, 'The DiCtator'.
However this will be her first turn on the theatre stage, reports Bbc News, joining actors such as 'American Pie' actor Jason Biggs, Jesse Eisenberg, 'Save The Last Dance' star Julia Stiles, renowned comedian Sarah Silverman and the stalwart Woody Harrelson on November 14th 2011.
The project is in its 10th year and all proceeds from the plays are registered go to charity, which this year will be the Urban Arts Partnership - an organisation that promotes art-integrated education programmes in under-privileged communities.
The UK is taking part in the concept as well, and has announced the likes of Mackenzie Crook, Lily Cole, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Matthew Horne among those who'll be involved. In the UK the money will go to The Old Vic Theatre's development strand Old Vic New Voices, which is a mentoring service for up and coming actors.
