Ali Lohan has accidentally auditioned for a film helmed by former adult movie director Peter Davy.
The 14-year-old singer was unaware of Davy's involvement in films such as Voodoo Lust and Dreams In The Forbidden Zone.
She was hoping to land a role in the horror movie remake Trolls.
According to TMZ, Lohan's mother Dina "went nuclear" when she heard about the audition.
"Ali obviously had no idea about Davy’s past," a source told Us magazine. "If she did know, she never would have auditioned for him."

Ali Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's 14-year-old sister, has begun filming her first film project, Mostly Ghostly, in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
Ali's role shares similarities with her older sister's character in the 2004 film Mean Girls: She'll play "a popular high school senior" in the film, says a source.
Ali told Teen Vogue in the April issue, "I grew up watching Lindsay. It made me want to do what she does. Just the whole vibe. Being there, being on camera, or onstage."
The film, slated for release later this year, is based on the pre-teen book series Mostly Ghostly written by R.L. Stine, which centers on an 11-year-old boy who befriends two ghosts.

She may only be 14, but ALI LOHAN's trout pout has sparked rumours she's had cosmetic surgery.
Lindsay's little sister will soon be starring in a reality show following her pursuit of stardom, flanked by mum Dina.
This week in Star magazine's Knifestyles of the Rich & Famous column, we examined the teen's pout last year and this year and asked Anthony Youn, M.D., of The Hills Plastic Surgery Centre in Rochester Hills, Mich. to weigh in. After seeing photos of Ali in May 2007 at the premiere of Georgia Rule and on March 5 at a screening of WE's new series High School Confidential, Dr. Youn told Star that Ali may have had her lips enhanced with a filler such as Restylane or Juvederm.
"Her upper lip is too large in proportion to her lower lip, and the borders of the lips are exaggerated," said the doctor. "[Her lips] appear a bit overdone, and in my opinion, it would be a very unusual procedure for a 14-year-old."
The doctor told Star that he thinks Ali may have had at least two syringes of filler injected into her lips. (Going rate per syringe? About $600.) However, he adds that the good news is that aside from post-op bruising and swelling, side effects are rare.

Lindsay Lohan's younger sister Ali has auditioned to appear in High School Musical 3.
Ali Lohan is being lined up to play a "spoilt little princess" opposite Zac Efron, reports E!.
A spokesperson has confirmed she is auditioning for a role, which is rumoured to be a younger version of Ashley Tisdale's character Sharpay.
High School Musical regular Vanessa Hudgens is reportedly upset that the teen star may be given the part and is concerned by the media interest that follows the Lohan family.
A source said: "When Vanessa heard that Ali was vying for a part in High School Musical 3, she flipped.
"She knows Ali isn't Lindsay, but she’s still weary of the drama the Lohan clan brings."

Lindsay Lohan has warned her younger sister to stay away from nightclubs if she wants to be a star.
The 'Mean Girls' beauty - who completed a two-month stint in rehab last year for drink and drug problems - is keen for aspiring actress Ali, 14, to avoid all the pitfalls she endured.
She said: "I've urged her to keep her head on straight. She needs to stay away from clubs! But I wish her the best of luck."
Ali - who recently admitted she was desperate to be famous in an interview with Teen Vogue magazine - is set to appear in a reality TV show with mother Dina.

Dina and Ali Lohan will debut their new reality show this summer, E! announced on Tuesday.
The show, tentatively titled “Living Lohan,” will take viewers inside the Lohans’ Long Island home to follow Dina as she works double duty as mom and manager for Ali’s blossoming singing/acting career.
“The Lohans are one of the most intriguing families in the entertainment industry today,” Lisa Berger of E! said. “This is a family that knows how to roll with the punches and come out on top. Dina is an incredibly hard-working, passionate mom that I think our viewers will find both relatable and highly entertaining.”
In addition, the series will also follow Lindsay’s 11-year-old brother Cody, as well as brother Michael, a 20-year-old college student.
“There are so many misconceptions about me and my family,” Dina told People back when shooting began in October. “I’m setting the record straight.”
Dina, who also serves as the show’s executive producer, said she hopes the series will serve as an example to other single working moms.
“It’s about empowering women to be successful single mothers. (It’s) about being in the limelight without compromising motherhood,” she added in her interview with People. “It’s about what I do, how you can be successful, and be a single mom and fulfilling your kids’ dreams. Working is my sole source of income.”
According to People, Dina and Ali will shoot the next round for their show on March 17 in New York, followed by another two-week stint in Las Vegas, which will show Ali inside the Maloofs’ recording studio at the Palms Hotel and Casino.
