Larry Birkhead says he wants the former couple's 1-year-old daughter Dannielynn to see the lingerie her mom wore once.
Birkhead wants to make sure Dannielynn has something to remember the late bombshell by.
He bought a pink bustier for $1,800 and white negligee for $1,000 at a celebrity auction at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday.
He is quoted by eonline.com as saying, "You know, it's not something I can show today, but something down the road. It's not going to be in any bedtime stories anytime soon."

The British writer who turned the "Jerry Springer Show" into an opera is hoping to do the same with the tragic life of Anna Nicole Smith.
Richard Thomas, who wrote the libretto to "Jerry Springer: The Opera," is collaborating with composer Mark-Anthony Turnage on an opera about the late former Playboy Playmate, the Independent reports.
"It's an incredible story," Thomas told the paper. "It's very operatic and sad. She was quite a smart lady with the tragic flaw that she could not seem to get through life without a vat of prescription painkillers."
The opera, in the early stages of development, will be staged at the Royal Opera House, the paper said.
Smith died at the age of 39 on Feb. 8, 2007, from an overdose of prescription drugs in Florida. Her death sparked a custody battle between her lawyer, Howard K. Stern, and her lover, Larry Birkhead, over her daughter, Dannielynn, who was living in the Bahamas at the time of Smith's death.
Thomas plans to focus only on the life of Smith and not the rocking legal battles that followed.
"For me, it ends when she does," he said. "It's an American story. I love American culture. Especially for opera, the stories seem to work on a grander, more epic scale. They seem more extreme — it's a blessing and a curse."

Stern's lawyer said, "We and Mr. Stern always believed that Anna Nicole never intended to disinherit her daughter. I'm pleased to say this chapter in the saga is closed."
A trust was also set up for Dannielynn, with Larry Birkhead and Howard Stern serving as co-trustees.
While Anna Nicole wasn't terribly rich herself, she stood to inherit millions of dollars from the fortune of her late husband. With Anna now deceased and Dannielynn as the sole heir, Dannielynn now stands to inherit the millions once that court case is settled, which may still be years from now.

VAN SUSTEREN: Did you love Anna Nicole?
BIRKHEAD: Yes. I sure did. I still do, but you know, it's, like, (INAUDIBLE) you know? And I think probably, for her, in looking back, I might have loved her too much because maybe that scared her because she was — you know, she always had these people buzzing around her. She didn't know what they wanted or what they were all about. And something about us, even if we fought or — you know, we always made our way back to where, you know, we would get along again.
VAN SUSTEREN: What are you going to tell her when she gets older? Have you thought about that? Because this is a rather extraordinary start to a life.
BIRKHEAD: I thought about it. I'm more concerned about what she is going to hear from things that I don't tell her that's captured on video and court hearings, transcripts, and even things I had to participate in for the fight, things that I said that they were truthful, but—do we really have to go there? Did it have to come to that? That whole Florida thing did we have to go there and say this stuff and that stuff? And what was I even doing there?
VAN SUSTEREN: How about Anna Nicole's drug use? Have you have thought about that?
BIRKHEAD: No. I have thought about that. And I think I'm just going—it's probably going to make me more—it's probably going to make me more overprotective. It's tough.
VAN SUSTEREN: How old is she now?
BIRKHEAD: She will be 9 months tomorrow.
VAN SUSTEREN: Any surprises about fatherhood? This is your first?
BIRKHEAD: Yes. Surprises? The hours.
VAN SUSTEREN: The hours. What kind of hours are there?
BIRKHEAD: Long hours.
VAN SUSTEREN: 24-7?
BIRKHEAD: Well, for the most part. I mean, I have some help helping me. But if she needs me, I'm there, I'm available 24 hours for her. But she is a great baby. She is happy.
VAN SUSTEREN: How fun is it to wake her and have her smile at you?
BIRKHEAD: I love her in the morning. She is a really happy baby. Whenever she wakes up, she is always—she is just in a great mood. And she loves attention, she loves pulling on my hair, and she likes to beat me up sometimes..
VAN SUSTEREN: Was it the worth the fight for her?
BIRKHEAD: Yes. Yes. She is my little princess

I don't know why, but somehow Anna Nicole Smith's lastest film Illegal Aliens made it to the Independent Films Festival in Cannes but did not make it to the box office, instead going straight to DVD on May 1.
It's a corny sci-fi comedy with Anna playing one of three aliens who "morph into super-hot babes and arrive to protect the earth from the intergalactic forces of evil," according to Wildstarz.
It's a short film Anna Nicole and her son Daniel co-produced and co-wrote the film. Illegal Aliens stars include Joanie Laurer and "Dynasty" stars John James.
Scott Jones, Edgewood Studios producer said: "Even though Illegal Aliens is so cheesy, Anna would have loved to have the world premiere in Cannes."

Tabloids have photos of Anna Nicole Smith's dead body. How sad is that? She has not been dead more than 3 weeks and she still getting her picture taken. People are just so sick. They don't know how to put something to rest. I don't know many people who are into seeing dead a persons photograph.

Not only totally strangers but deep, dark secrets are coming out of the wood work, about Anna Nicole's life. A man who says he is an old friend of Anna Nicole Smith said the deceased Playmate suffered from lupus (the autoimmune disease).
Supposedly Frank Rodriguez never came forward before now because he promised to keep her secret. The only reason he was sharing it now, because he doesn't like people calling Anna Nicole "a drug user."
"She had a very serious condition, and I think people are entitled to know the truth," he said, according to Showbuzz.
Rodriguez claimed he met Smith and her son, Daniel, at Disneyland in 1996; he was working as a guest relation and was her tour guide.
"We became fast friends and had a special bond," he said.
Smith confessed to Rodriguez that she had lupus back in 1998.
She told him her whole body would ache and she only took the prescription drugs to ease the pain.

This is how the celebrities do it - being knocked up, acting like dumb-asses and being video to make an extra buck. At least that's how Anna Nicole did it. Eight-month pregnant Anna Nicole Smith aired on Greta Van Sustern’s Fox show this evening, looking like a total idiot. Howard, her supposedly confidant recorded the whole wasted film. (If he were really the father of Anna Nicole's daughter than he would maybe take care of her better!) She’s obviously out of her "f#@king" mind.
