Just days after Brown made a public apology for beating up his then-girlfriend in February, the singer was seen checking into the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Manhattan.
The New York Post reported that the couple spent the weekend there, "under a cloak of secrecy".
According to the newspaper: "They spent the next two days coming and going in separate chauffeured vehicles from the underground garage of the 52-story Columbus Circle building."
The two appear to have taken great measures to avoid public exposure, including the use of decoy vehicles to throw off reporters and photographers.

Today, Chris BrownRihanna earlier this year, gave a video-based apology to his fans and the World on his website and YouTube.
In a video that appeared online late Monday afternoon (July 20), Chris Brown has apologized publicly for the first time about the domestic altercation that took place between him and Rihanna earlier this year.
In the clip, obtained by MTV News, Brown, dressed in a red long-sleeve shirt with buttons on the front, spoke directly to the camera and apologized to his former girlfriend and his fans.
"I've told Rihanna countless times and I'm telling you today, I'm truly, truly sorry that I wasn't able to handle the situation both differently and better," Brown said.
Toward the end of the apology, Brown continues to express remorse. The singer said up until the incident, he was living his life in a way that would make those around him proud. Through soul searching, he said, and help from his minister and mother, Brown intends to work on himself and gain forgiveness for his actions.
"I only can pray that you forgive me, please," he said to his fans.

A new electro-dance track posted on Kanye West's blog entitled "Silly Boy" is the latest track from singer Rihanna. The song features a collaboration with Lady GaGa and from the lyrics and timing of its release, we're guessing that the subject of the song might be none other than Ri-Ri's boyfriend Chris Brown.
It's not clear exactly if Rihanna and Brown have definitively split, but the song is giving us hope that the Barbados native has abandoned her toxic relationship for good.

Chris Brown has denied any involvement in the picture leak that apparently shows ex-girlfriend Rihanna in the nude.
The pictures that everyone is talking about reportedly show the Umbrella star posing naked in a mirror and taking images of herself on a camera phone.
Brown, who is currently facing up to five years in jail for the alleged attack on the Barbadian beauty, has claimed he has nothing to do with the pics being released and hitting the internet.
Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton pointed the blame at the Kiss Kiss star stating that Brown ‘must be responsible’ leading the singer to express his innocence.
A representative for Brown told Essence.com: “This is both a false and defamatory statement. Chris has not released or ‘leaked’ any photos of Rihanna (or anyone else for that matter).”
Rihanna’s record label, Def Jam have yet to confirm whether the leaked shots are in fact of the lady herself but it has said to of issued a cease-and-desist letter to the web sites that published the snaps.

The 19-year-old is due in a Los Angeles court for arraignment Monday for allegedly biting, choking and punching the "Umbrella" star during a heated argument Feb. 8. Sources close to the case told RadarOnline.com that Brown is eager to resolve the situation, but he will not plead guilty to two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats. He's free on $50,000 bail.

According to a report on entertainment website Bang Showbiz on Friday, the Umbrella hitmaker, 21, reportedly allowed Brown, 19, to film them having sex.
"Rihanna has no issues with her sexuality. But she'd be mortified if her friends and family found this out," reported The Star.
"This whole beating incident is terribly humiliating for her.
"She's already traumatized and will do anything to make it all go away as quickly as possible."

Chris Brown's manager has denied any involvement in the singer's recent altercation with girlfriend Rihanna, insisting she was not the one who sparked the bust-up by sending a message to the R&B star.
Brown is charged with assault and making criminal threats after an argument with the Rihanna last month allegedly left her battered and bruised.
According to a police affidavit, the altercation was triggered by a text message Brown received on his cell phone from another woman.
TMZ.com recently pointed to Brown's manager, Tina Davis, who is rumored to have had a romantic relationship with the Brown when he was 16.
But Davis has now released a statement distancing herself from the altercation between Brown and Rihanna. She also denies ever having been Brown's lover.
The statement reads, "The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client. There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false. There are no emails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media reports.
"If the source of the false rumors is identified, legal action will be taken. Given the nature of the legal issues affecting Mr. Brown, Ms. Davis will not be making any further statements."
Brown has also denied rumors he is set to dismiss Davis as his manager. The star's business attorney, Kenny Meiselas, says, "We are very happy with Chris' team and there are no changes."
Brown is due back in court in April.

Rihanna’s bloodstains found in Chris Brown’s hired Lamborghini will be serving as solid proof of the alleged attack she suffered at his hands.
Radar Online obtained some interior photos of Chris Brown's Lamborghini taken shortly after he beat up Rihanna in it. Her blood can be seen in more than a few spots.
The Forensic experts have revealed that the car’s interiors include blood stains, scuff marks and damage, all of which stand proof of a “terrible struggle”.
