Ford surprised Flockhart with a Valentine's Day wedding proposal in 2009. They were married Tuesday in New Mexico, where the actor is filming Cowboys and Aliens.
The wedding, which took place at the Governor's Mansion in Santa Fe, was performed by Governor Bill Richardson under the legal supervision of New Mexico's Chief Justice, Charles W. Daniels, who officially declared the couple legally wed.
Gov. Richardson and his wife, Barbara, who are friends of the couple, were witnesses for the bride and groom. The couple's son Liam, 9, was also in attendance, as was the governor's official counsel.

Internet gossips claimed the actor had proposed on Valentine's Day, asking the former "Ally McBeal" star to be his wife during a family vacation
The couple refused to comment on their plans to walk down the aisle, but Ford has finally confessed, after a TV reporter offered his congratulations.
During an interview for news show "Entertainment Tonight," a reporter asked the actor if engagement congratulations were in order, to which Ford replied, "Yeah, thank you very much."
The pair has been together for seven and a half years.

The New York Post's Cindy Adams says the gossip in Jackson Hole, Wyo., where the couple have a home, are saying the twosome had their blood tested and got a marriage license which could mean either a trip down the aisle... or they already took one!

Harrison Ford did his own stunt for the charity Conservation International to highlight the effects of deforestation and the fact that slashing and burning of the rain forest "hurts" the planet.
The pair are long rumored to have been romantically involved while shooting the classic movies - something they have both denied.
But Fisher has now revealed she had always dreamt of having a secret fling on set.
She says, "I went on the film saying, 'I'm going to have an affair', like it was a kiwi, an exotic fruit - because I had never had one." And the 51-year-old admits she was impressed by Ford's good looks. She adds, "I had a crush on Harrison for sure. Harrison is great fun when he's had a few drinks."
