The TV actress, 49, recently checked into an L.A.-area hospital with a bacterial infection, her rep confirmed to UsMagazine.com.
Locklear had just returned from Canada where she was shooting a film. Her rep said that she's on antibiotics and is expected to be released later on Wednesday. "She is fine," the rep tells Us.

The 49-year-old actress has been dating actor Jack Wagner since 2007. The pair worked together on US drama Melrose Place, originally meeting in 1993, and are said to be blissfully happy together.
Heather celebrated her birthday on September 25, and Jack decided to make it extra special by proposing. The couple were enjoying dinner at a Korean restaurant when Jack popped the question. Heather immediately accepted, despite previously telling her beau she wasn’t ready to tie the knot.
"Heather never felt the time was right," a source told British newspaper The Daily Express. "But now she is ready."

The actress who starred in "Melrose Place" was arrested in September after a California Highway Patrol officer saw her parked car blocking a freeway traffic lane in Montecito and determined she was impaired. She was charged with a single misdemeanor count.
"There was no alcohol and no illegal narcotics in her system, only prescription medications," said Santa Barbara County Deputy Dist. Atty. Lee Carter
Locklear is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 26. Attorney Blair Berk, who is representing the actress, declined to comment.

Heather Locklear, the beautiful blonde actress known for TV dramas such as Dynasty and Melrose Place, and later for her work on the sitcom Spin City, has checked into an Arizona medical facility to seek psychological treatment, Reuters reports.
Locklear's spokeswoman Cece Yorke said that Locklear has been dealing with anxiety and depression. Yorke said that the matter would remain confidential and that there would be no further statements on the matter.
The 46-year-old Locklear has been married and divorced twice--first to Motley Crew drummer Tommy Lee, and then to Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, with whom she has one child.
