The couple - who dated for four months over the summer - appear to have rekindled their romance in recent weeks - allegedly for the sake of their unborn child.
A source tells NW Weekly, "Jennifer is over the moon. She doesn’t want to be a single mom, so she is willing to give John the chance to prove his parent potential."
While Jen is ecstatic, John remains suspiciously quiet about the whole affair, perhaps pram-pushing doesn't match his 'rock star' image?
'Johnnifer' called it a day in August, prompting the singer to claim that the chemistry wasn't right between them.

But in a "jet-lagged" interview with the New York Times, Angelina Jolie said she and Pitt fell in love on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2004 - long before Pitt's break-up and divorce with then-wife Aniston.
The revelation came during discussions about how Jolie couldn't wait for her and Pitt's six children - three adopted, three naturally conceived - to see the film in which their parents fell in love.
She said: "It will be great when they can watch Mr and Mrs Smith, because not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love."
"What's going to be funny is when they think mum and dad are a little bit cool. Because right now, we're not cool mum and dad."

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer, it seems, couldn't stay away from each other for too long, as the two have reportedly rekindled their romance. According to The National Enquirer, the 'Friends' star and the singer were spotted kissing in Los Angeles on October 13, after they arrived together via private plane.
It was in August that the couple's three and a half months romance came to an abrupt end. But, the couple recently met again in Manhattan and were behaving like lovers on their way back to California. "They were very lovey-dovey. They kissed several times and hugged each other tightly. John gave her a long, lingering kiss," PerezHilton.com quoted an insider, as saying.
While the couple took their separate ways after reaching LA, their kissing has set the rumour mills running in full speed. An insider said: "Jennifer was in New York doing some shopping before she starts promotional work for her new movies, 'He's Just Not That Into You" and 'Marley And Me'. John was relaxing after finishing his international tour, and they hooked up."

She was spotted relaxing and taking pictures at a beautiful resort in Los Cabos, Mexico over the weekend. Jen enjoyed lunch with a female friend.
"Jennifer reached out to John first. She had a few glasses of wine – then decided to throw caution to the wind and make the first move," says an insider. "John was pleasantly surprised to hear from her. He says they’ve been in contact pretty much every day since and he’s really looking forward to seeing her again soon."

According to one paparazzo source, "Pictures of him and Jen were selling for $20,000 at one point. A picture of him alone gets $200 now. Chasing him from his apartment to Nobu is hardly worth it."
