Jessica Simpson stopped by the set of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday night to chat with Jay Leno about some interesting topics, including her addiction to Nicorette gum.
"The first time I ever chewed a piece of Nicorette gum one of my close friends' mother gave it to me," she said. "I think she thought she was giving me a piece of regular gum. I was chewing it and it was like a party in my mouth. It was like fireworks and 'Oh my god, I'm talking a million miles per hour and I love this gum and what kind of gum is this? I have to have this gum.'"

Following a long day of promotion, Jessica Simpson was spotted leaving her hotel and heading off to a party on Fifth Avenue in New York City last night.
The “Dukes of Hazzard” babe looked lovely in a peach-colored dress as she strolled past the paparazzi with some friends.
They’ve been heavy on the promotional trail for their show “The Price of Beauty,” and Jessica Simpson, Ken Paves and CaCee Cobb were spotted heading to a photoshoot earlier today.
Looking to be in high spirits, the “Come on Over” singer and her two BFFs emerged from their NYC hotel en route to Chelsea Piers for the shoot.

Held at City Center, the blonde beauty was looking lovely as she posed solo before joining up with her good friend, celebrity stylist Ken Paves.
Jessica Simpson, perhaps in need of some publicity to help her sagging career, pulled a new stunt during the last few days. She joined Ken Paves, a hairstylist, and donned a number of wigs. One of the wigs, a ‘Brady Special,’ gave her a look from the ’60’s. The wig was so convincing that some people believed Simpson had actually trimmed her golden locks and turned her hairstyle so it is very short.
Jessica Simpson has been criticised by PETA for wearing snake skin.
Simpson, 29, is not the only star that the animal rights group has hit out at - others include Catherine Zeta Jones, Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.
Actor Joaquin Phoenix has teamed up with the group to host a new video on the skin trade, which also includes alligators and lizards as well as snake skin.
In the video, Phoenix said: 'Did you know that mother snakes keep their eggs warm by wrapping their bodies around the eggs and then shivering to generate heat?
'Exotic animals are mostly unknown to us, and so is what they suffer before being turned into belts and bags?
The video is being sent to the stars in the hope they will change their fashion choices.

The “Come on Over” songstress was in the house to promote her new television show “The Price of Beauty” and looked lovely in a ravishing red dress.
Jessica Simpson got a little tripped up by her dog, Sammy, leaving the New York Ritz Hotel today – not sure those killer purple heels helped any!
Jessica Simpson told David Letterman she was surprised the “Waiting on the World to Change” singer named her in his notorious Playboy interview.
“He gave away my game! Normally you would think that somebody you care about would keep those intimate details to themselves. It was definitely compliment ... in a way. But I don’t really want people to know that about me. It’s like, I’m the good girl and then that happens.”
Speaking of her bad relationship luck, Jess also admitted that ex-boyfriend Tony Romo picked a doozy of a day to dump her. “He broke up with me on my birthday!”
This time his name is Jeremy Renner, known from The Hurt Locker. They met at a cocktail party recently in L.A. to celebrate the film they apparently had some fun!
"Jeremy spent the night hitting on Jessica like crazy. They were really flirting up a storm"
and then they apparently exchanged telephone numbers!
so is this a rumor or true? Either way, hopefully Jessica is happy!
