Jewel was spotted smiling from ear to ear at the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards.
The “You Were Meant for Me” singer looked dazzling in a strapless Zuhair Murad gown along with a coral-and-diamond cocktail ring by Jacob & Co.
Jewel is sporting a bikini on the cover of the July issue of Shape magazine, and while she looks phenomenal she admits there was a time when she was very sensitive about her weight and her body image.
On being called "the chubby Renee Zellweger" in the media years ago:
"My feelings were so hurt by that story, I ended up bingeing on an entire cake. Afterward, I actually tried to throw it all up, but thankfully I couldn't do it. It made me think, 'I can't go down this road.' I had seen so many performers develop eating disorders or try to control their weight with drugs, and I decided I would do no harm to my body."
Her advice to women:
"We should be more like men, God bless 'em. They can take their shirts off and show their man boobs, and they don't give a hoot. But women are so critical of themselves. We can be gorgeous and hot and still be embarrassed to wear a tank top. So if you can't stop looking in the mirror, at least try to not think badly about yourself when you do."
On her diet:
"I try to stay away from an all-or-nothing mentality when it comes to food. It's like a pendulum: The more extreme I am--like saying, 'I'm not going to eat any carbs'--the further it's going to swing to the other side and I'm going to binge. My dad sends me fresh salmon and halibut from Alaska as well as dried nettles, which I like to put into soups. I also eat a lot of raw vegetables or bitter greens, like kale and dandelion greens, lightly sautéed in olive oil. People are so fat-phobic these days, but eating good fats is important, which is why I always try to get some olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado into whatever I'm making."
Jewel was spotted by photographers in a tiny, violet bikini in Miami Beach on Tuesday. Despite her smile in the photos, the singer, 35, was not too happy about it!
She posted on her Twitter page, "I'm mortified."
She explained, "As I was leaving the beach, hunched over trying to put a dress on, I heard 'click click.' Yup -- paparazzi! I'm so embarrassed!"
"At least he was pretty nice, said -- 'how about u pose for a 'flattering' shot," she added.
Jewel was in Miami for what she called "a rare day off."

Here we have the luscious singer Jewel showing of a thinner and more awesome bikini body than I expected to see - while on holidays in the Bahamas. She is a sweet Bahama-Mama!
Jewel took the top spots on TV Guide's Sexiest Stars list this year and celebrated at Sunset Towers. This is the hottest I've seen Jewel look in a while!
Jewel's yale blue halter gown was embellished with a single gold detail on the empire waist. I love that she wore her wavy hair back in a loose bun.
She completes her look with multiple bracelets on both her arms and a gold box clutch.

The 34-year-old exchanged vows with the former rodeo cowboy in a private service in front of friends and family on Thursday.
Her representative told People.com, "She wore a traditional wedding gown, while Ty wore his favourite blue jeans, white shirt and cowboy hat.
"The couple is very happy and look forward to enjoying their honeymoon."
The pair, who didn't announce an engagement, had been dating for 10 years.

She use to sing about drunks and now she is one!
JEWEL's melodious songs of happiness and purity have changed to drunkin' slurring.
The Alaskan singer confesses her sins and loving every minute of it!
"I didn't become a lush until I turned 30," Jewel tells all.
"I never thought I would become a drunk but it's pretty damn good. I realised at 30, alcohol can really solve all your problems. Whomever said drinking doesn't help, lied, it's all a myth. Drinking is fun!"
