Mischa Barton has denied rumours that she was "unprofessional" on the set of Law & Order.
Barton has been cast as a prostitute in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, but the New York Daily News recently reported that she had behaved unprofessionally on set.
It was claimed that the actress upset members of the cast and crew by forgetting her lines and relying on cue cards.
According to WENN, Barton's spokesperson has now dismissed the speculation, adding: "Everything's going swimmingly on set."
Barton's episode of SVU is scheduled to air on March 3 on NBC.

Mischa Barton has been sued for alleged non-payment of rent on her New York City apartment.
Barton recently located to New York to play the part of an aspiring model on The Beautiful Life that was executive produced by Ashton Kutcher.
The UK Mirror reports Barton's landord quoted the rent on the apartment, that carries a one-year lease from last September, at $7000 dollars a month.
The Beautiful Life was pulled after just two episodes. MRA Realties said Barton was three months behind in rent on the Tribeca apartment. She will also be liable for legal fees, according to the report.

Continuing on with a long day on the set, Mischa Barton was spotted shooting scene after scene for “Law & Order: SVU” on Monday.
Clad in a scandalous outfit, the 23-year-old, who landed a guest spot as a prostitute named Gladys on the drama-packed show, stirred up some trouble on the streets of the NYC set.
There was a time when Mischa Barton could throw on any old clothes and the fashion world would follow.
But spotted out wearing unflattering leather leggings with Converse trainers and a low-cut white blouse, the actress looked nothing like her normal stylish self.
The 23-year-old squeezed into the tight wet-look trousers as she popped to Le Pain Quotidien restaurant in Los Angeles on Friday.
Even switching coats did not help improve the look and the overall sartorial selection certainly did nothing to flatter her fuller figure.
The actress has sparked concern in the past over her fluctuating figure, which has seen her drop from healthy weight to a gaunt size six.
She made her name as the willowy blonde clothes horse in American teen drama The OC.
But when she left the show, she also left behind the skinny teen and found her curves.
Unfortunately, the roles began to dry up, and she then stripped off for an ill-advised nude scene in film Closing The Ring.
