After going public with their renewed romance in Paris earlier this week, Hollywood couple Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are ready to take the relationship to the next level.
“Kate and Owen initially got back together three months ago after realising they couldn’t live without each other. Now they are ready to become parents,” said a source close to the couple, reports The Sun.
“They’ve discussed the idea of becoming parents at length and Kate has seen a change in Owen. He loves the idea of being a dad and has told Kate that he’s ready when she is,” the source added.

The actor visited a strip club in Philadelphia last week, where he drank beer and enjoyed several private dances.
An onlooker said: "He spent four hours at Rick's Cabaret and was in an upbeat mood. He watched a game, drank beer, and when a parade of 75 half-naked girls caught his eye, he asked for dances from several and definitely had a preference for blondes. He tipped at least one with a $100 bill."
One blonde beauty - who bore a striking resemblance to Kate - then spent some private time in a VIP area with Owen.
She told the New York Post newspaper: "If he had any problems, you'd never know it. He didn't seem upset in the least. People tell me I look like Kate, and it didn't bother him at all."

Representatives for Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have denied that the couple are engaged.
'Fool's Gold' star Hudson sparked rumours of an engagement after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger outside a restaurant in Boston last week.
The News of the World quoted a source as saying: "Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she's the woman he wants to be with for ever. The engagement is a natural step for them both."
However, Hudson's representatives have been quick to deny the story stating that the ring was merely a prop for a movie the divorced star is filming. Her representative told OK! Magazine: "She's filming a movie called 'Bride Wars'! She is not engaged."
A representative for Wilson also denied the rumours.
The Hollywood couple met on the set of 'You, Me and Dupree' in 2006 and were romantically linked later that year, after Hudson split from her husband of six years, Black Crowes star Chris Robinson.
Hudson and Wilson parted ways last June but in recent months the couple have reunited and were spotted with Wilson's parents on Hudson's 29th birthday last month.

After getting in some sunbathing, Hudson (accompanied by Ryder on one bike) and Wilson (with another young boy) rode through the busy streets of South Beach on Saturday before stopping for Starbucks on the less-crazy Biscayne Bay side of town. Mother and son even wandered into a drug store and a video store, where they picked up a new movie.
"They looked like a family on an afternoon outing, taking advantage of the balmy weather and doing some errands," says an eyewitness.

This all sounds mysteriously like the same reports from the set of her last film with Aaron Eckhart. It appears the best way to cozy up with Jennifer is to get on set with her and star opposite the California beauty.

The Toxic singer beat out competition from Owen Wilson to score the number one spot on the list compiled by American magazine Us. Spears' public downfall has spanned the whole year (07) and included such incidents as emerging from a car without wearing any underwear; shaving her own head; a stint in rehab; a disastrous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards; a divorce from Kevin Federline and an ongoing custody battle over her two infant sons.
Second-placed Wilson attempted suicide in August (07), while Paris Hilton came third following a tumultuous year which saw her jailed for violating her probation for drink-driving.
Lindsay Lohan, who was arrested twice for driving under the influence and checked into rehab twice in 2007, came fourth, while British singer Amy Winehouse is in fifth place.

Owen Wilson returns home from hospital following his suicide attempt.
The comedy actor appeared to have lost a lot of weight and had bruising under his eyes as he was dropped off at his house in Santa Monica, California.
The Wedding Crashers star said he was happy that he had been "saved from himself".
But the 38-year-old actor, who took an overdose and slashed his wrists, is said to still be in "bad mental shape" and is on round-the-clock suicide watch.
His brother, actor Luke, has been constantly by his side, along with their other brother Andrew, 43, who found Owen unconscious with cut wrists and an empty pill box by his bed a week ago.
Their father Robert has also been looking after him.
A source said: "Owen is in bad mental shape but he has said he is thankful to be alive. He knows he came close to ending his own life, and he is happy that he was saved from himself.
"He is at home with people watching him 24/7."
Wilson was said to be devastated after splitting with his girlfriend and former co-star Kate Hudson, and then seeing pictures of her kissing her new love, actor Dax Shepherd.
Wilson, who has long battled a drug habit, was treated at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, where he was visited by friends including Woody Harrelson and director Wes Anderson.
Doctors are satisfied he is coping with the trauma as long as he is watched by those close to him.
He has pulled out of his next project, Tropic Thunder - in which he would have starred with his friend Ben Stiller - so that he has time to recuperate.

Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have broken up, according to a source who knows the pair.
"They're still friends," says the source, adding that the two split just before Memorial Day weekend.
The cause of the breakup wasn't immediately known.
Last month, Hudson joined Wilson at the Dallas premiere of his comedy The Wendell Baker Story and stepped out with him at a party after the film's LA premiere, where the couple held hands, stroked each other's backs and rocked out to classic rock tunes together.
Hudson, who split with husband Chris Robinson last August and is mother to 3-year-old Ryder, had won the approval of lifelong bachelor Wilson's family.
"He seems very happy," Owen's younger brother, actor Luke Wilson, told PEOPLE in April, while older brother Andrew Wilson called Hudson "the world's most beautiful tomboy ... She's a great person."
Reps for Hudson and Wilson declined to comment.
