Thandie Newton arrives at For Colored Girls premiere in a gray dress, and was accompanied by husband Ol Parker.
"For Colored Girls", previously known as "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide", is based on a 1975 play which features a series of 20 poems telling stories of love, abandonment, domestic abuse and other issues faced by black women. The drama movie will hit U.S. theaters on November 5.

THANDIE NEWTON first audition the directors asked her to touch herself in front of the camera. She still shudders at the thought.
Newton is too embarrassed to mention names of the film or directors. She hates remembering it, even now! Thank gawd, she never got the part, JENNIFER LOPEZ did instead.
She said: "It didn't occur to me to say no in the audition. I just did what they told me to do."
I'm sure all the cameramen were getting off while rolling the tape. They would have never asked Jennifer to please herself in front of the camera!
