LAC: What’s special about your upcoming film Bel Ami besides Robert Pattinson, who is so big right now, being your costar?
UT: He is a big star right now. I’m excited because the film is a classical, technical piece of work, and it’s beautiful. It’s a bit of bedroom drama. It’s a romance between Rob and a number of Parisian housewives.
LAC: And you’re one of the love interests?
UT: I end up marrying him, but there are some twists. My daughter is like, “Mom, why do you keep getting these roles where you’re getting younger men?” And I said, “Well at least I don’t do it in real life.”
The "Kill Bill" actress reportedly split from French financier Arpad Busson because she was tired of him trying to take over her life and telling her what to do.
A friend of the actresses told the New York Daily News newspaper: "It seemed like he always wanted to run the show."
The relationship allegedly turned sour when the 47-year-old businessman decided he wanted to make drastic changes to Uma's lavish homes without even consulting her.
The friend explained: "He wanted to bring in his own chef and his own security. He'd talk about redesigning her house in the city and knocking down buildings at her place upstate."
It had been reported that the couple ended their year-long engagement almost two months ago after a row about money.

“I’m sometimes confused by what they choose to photograph. On the set of Motherhood, I was in a hippie floral dress and Birkenstocks. I can’t imagine who would be interested in seeing me like that”
On Aging
“For an actress, every developmental stage is a culling of the herd. New people are found and pushed to the forefront. It freaks me out a little less these days. It makes it easier having gone through working as a teenager and being told that there would be no career for me as a 20 year old. And then working as a 20 year old and being told that was it. And then having children and being told there wouldn’t be a career for me now. The characters I get to play as a mature woman are much more interesting than the ingénues I got to play as a kid, so I feel okay about it”
On her looks
“It’s the same with all actresses. Whether it’s there beautiful long wavy hair or their extraordinary lips or their sparkling green eyes or warm laugh, they’re pegged to some physical attribute. If I looked distinctly different, I would have a different kind of career and different kinds of challenges. But there are plenty of challenges that come from being a tall girl. Nobody would have thought I would have a 20-year career in front of me when I started!”

The Kill Bill star, who already has two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, got an assistant to buy the clothes from retailer Fred Segal in Santa Monica.
A source said the aide ordered half-a-dozen frocks from Tricky Threads.
"They were all two sizes larger than she usually orders," the insider told the New York Daily News.
